Lindsay Walker, built by the company, was an inspection locomotive mentioned in two Richmond Daily Dispatch articles {NP, RD 11-14A-61, NP, RD 11-27-61}, but is is not mentioned in the company's annual reports. |

| In May, 1 locomotive was running on the North Carolina Railroad. In February, Tecumseh was sold to Richmond & Petersburg RR. Purchased locomotive J. M. Short from Allen's Plantation RR in February (renamed the R. W. Haxall, named for a Director) and another unidentified locomotive was purchased. | |||||||
