power to take care of the pair of Rogers in case of retreat. |

discussing protecting the two locomotives that Hunton had disabled on
the western end of the Alexander, Loudoun & Hampshire RR. These two were
Mason locomotives, not Rogers. There were 5 Rogers engines on the Orange
& Alexandria RR, but they had already been evacuated south by this
