| Dear Sir, |
| I have yours of 2d so far as
we are concerned there is no objection to the So. Tel. Co's erecting a
telegraph along the line of our Road. But we entered into a contract
with the So. Ex. Co. to put up the existing line and in that we
contracted that they should have the exclusive right to erect and keep
up a telegraph along the line of our Road from Charlotte to Raleigh. |
