| Dear Sir, |
| We have no operator in the
Depot Office since Yesterday morning. To send forward the large amt of
Troops, Ammunition and provisions for the Confederate army daily
demanded of us is utterly impossible without the use of extra trains.
These we can not run without the Telegraph, constant and reliable. The
failure to bring forward troops yesterday and today and for this on
until we are supplied with a reliable operator, must rest on your
shoulders and not this Company. I ask nothing more than a compliance
in good faith & honesty with your contract. |
| Respectfully |
| C Wallace |
