I have some cotton at Macon
& Augusta in your state with which I am importing army supplies
& bacon. Can you possibly furnish me transportation for it in the
direction of Wilmington. Blockade running must be done this winter or
not at all. I have now three vessels afloat & will soon have two
more I cannot operate them without the cotton from your state. |
