| This will be handed you by Mr.
W. H. McDowell traveling Agt of the Arsenal for the purchases of
materials. I am just about to send him off for coal & have borrowed from
Central {(of Georgia)} Rail Road four cars
for the purpose. Can I get any from you. Mr McD will show you the
authority for taking C. R. R. cars wherever I can find them. As it might
be an advantage to you to get the cars belonging to your road back to
Macon I trust you will think it advisable to give us the ??? authority. |
| M. McDowell will not let the
cars go out of his sight. |
| If there is a possibility of
allowing the first of the cars at least to come by passenger train it
will be a great accommodation to me. |
