Mr. Day tells me you have
ordered the stringers for the Rail Road to be ??? 20 ft long -- if the
bill I handed Mr. Jones so orders there is a mistake I think I ordered
them 18 ft -- at least they must be 18 feet. If you have ??? the bill
2 feet to suit the iron bar you expect to make, let me know at once
and if they are 20 feet long they must be 6x7 instead of 6x6 -- if the
stringer are made 20 feet long it causes the cross ties to be laid 3'
4" from center to center. I think 3 feet from center to center is
plenty wide. |
