| Dear Sir, |
| As you wrote, that the lumber
was on Tuesday's train I went to the depot with the expectation of
getting the lumber but the agent told me it had not arrived tell Mr.
James that I cannot get any cars at all for the Ala & Miss Rail
Road {Alabama & Mississippi Rivers RR} says that the Tennessee road
{the Alabama & Tennessee River RR} does not turn over to them but three
of four cars a week (but not that many this week) and They say's they
cannot let there cars go up the Ala Tenn R. R. I have the promise of
the next cars when ever he gets them from the Tenns RR. *** |
