Dear Sir, |
I send you by mondays Freight Train (5)
five car loads of corn & (3) Three car loads of machinery. I have
been at work all day in the rain loading the machinery. I had to hire
negroes to load it for me as Mr Pettibone is busily shipping
Government freight. you will have to send more plant as some person
has stolen nearly all that you sent or I want sent back. It would be
best to mail the plant on or send a Negro to watch the cars. I shall
go to the Prairies next week if you dont object. John will be in Town
if you want any orders filled during my absence. |
Yours Respectfully |
G. L. Tillman |
PS. you will pay the freight bill on the machinery or
order me to do so. |
