Yours of 17th is at hand & contents
noted. I received two checks of you for $2000 each. I wrote Mrs.
Tipton that I had the money to pay her for the corn. the lamps are not
finished I will send them up as soon as I can get them. I will buy the
fodder -- out on the Marion RR {Cahaba, Marion
& Greensboro RR} as I can get cars to bring it out I will
keep the 4 cars running all the time send them down as soon as
possible. & I will send the corn up. I cant get a car from Lopez.
a detail is unnecessary for myself, as long as the substitute law is
good. |
