Owing to the Miss trains having yankee
prisoners to transport I have been unable to get any cars in with corn
yet. Expect to be able to send you 4 cars by Mondays train. I have
engaged Mrs Stovrs corn in Shuck at $2.50 per Bu will send it up as
soon as I get cars. |
at Mr Halls suggestion I purchased 132 Sks
corn of A C Davidson at $3.00 per Bu fght on Miss road 25c on Tenn
Road 50c Forage 1.00 on every 10 sks. It is here awaiting shipment.
Send back the sacks to A. C. Davidson as soon as you can. The corn is
for the employees of the Company. I am going out to Bellevue today
will pay for the corn and send you copy of the bill and charges
&c. Will fill the sacks sent down to Mr. Hall today. |
