| I have postponed answering
your letter thinking the Maj would return soon. |
| He may be able to make some
arrangement for RR Iron for you, but I am sure he will not consent to
having it rolled at your mill, for the simple reason that there are now
on file & have been for months large requisitions for rolled Iron
which Govt. interest urgently demands. I have inquired at the Arsenal
for Powder for you but can get none. |
