We are now engaged in bringing troops to Charleston
from Wilmington & aiding Drane {Superintendent,
Wilmington & Weldon RR} in removing those for Georgia via
Kingsville. Will carry on the one thousand bales of cotton at the
earliest opportunity. Did you receive telegram from me about troops
coming via this city for the west. |
