Col. George William Brent
Assistant Adjutant-General
Augusta, Ga.

The present orders are that the army trains shall be used to carry Major Molloy's stores across the break. Colonel Kennard orders Captain Humphreys to ship to Camak {on the Georgia RR, 47 miles from Augusta} all his ordnance stores, of which he has 700 wagon loads that have arrived by rail. What portion of these trains shall be devoted to transport ordnance stores? I know not which are the most immediately needed.
J. B. Eustis
Assistant Adjutant-General
