| New Locomotive |
| The Macon & Western
Railroad Machine Shop turned out upon their road Tuesday, a very
beautiful new locomotive, made wholly within their shops, except that
the iron castings were produced at the foundry of the Messrs.
Schofield {in Atlanta}. |
| {This was not a new
locomotive, but a rebuild of the Griffin. The "new"
locomotive was named Victory.} |
