| The Blue Ridge railroad, in
obedience to the inevitable mountain-ward tendency of internal
improvements, is progressing in spite of the hard times, the general
excitement and the scarceness of money. It is soon to be completed to
Walhalla -- a German town six miles, we believe, below the celebrated
tunnel. |
