Fires |
The depot of the King's
Mountain Rail Road, at Chester, was consumed by fire on Wednesday
morning last, about 10 o'clock, and 15 bales of cotton, belonging to
Jasper Stowe, of North Carolina, all it contained, was burnt. The
building has seldom been in use, and was securely locked up at the
time; the origin of the fire is unknown. |
