Rail Road Excursion |
The eleventh annual meeting of
the Stockholders of the King's Mountain Rail Road, will come off on
the 25th instant, at 4 o'clock, P. M. By the advertisement it will be
seen that Stockholders and their families will be allowed to pass up
and down the road free, on that day, and the one succeeding.
Should the weather prove favorable, a pleasant interchange of feeling
will still strongly unite the good folks of our sister village with
those of our own. An episode in these war times, for the women
to change the dust or mud of their "cities" for the invigorating
smoke and bustle of the cars. President Rose is a Pink
of a lady's man. |
