Running Off {on
the Louisville & Nashville RR} |
A locomotive was run off the
Railroad bridge at Nashville, on the 14th, and now lies at the bottom
of Cumberland river. The train was in charge of the fireman, and not
noticing that the draw was out of place, until too late, the
locomotive went over, carrying the fireman with it. He swam ashore. No
other damage done. |
