At a meeting of the
Stockholders of the Loudoun, Hampshire Rail Road, pursuant to the
following notice, viz: |
A., L. & H. R. R. -- At a
meeting of the Stockholders of the Loudoun & Hampshire Rail Road,
held in pursuance of the following notice, viz: |
"Board of Public Works --
At a meeting of the Board of Public Works, December 11, 1861. Ordered
that the Stockholders of the Alexandria, Loudoun & Hampshire Rail
Road Company, be called to attend a general meeting of said Company at
the Taylor Hotel, in Winchester, on Wednesday, the 15th day of January
next. |

On motion of Province
McCormick, Esq. Col. Treadwell Smith was called to the Chair, and Col.
Benjamin Morgan appointed Sec'y. |
A sufficient number of
Stockholders for the transaction of business under the law having
failed to attend, it was, on motion of Province McCormick, Esq.,
resolved that the meeting be adjourned to Saturday, the 15th day of
February, proximo. |

On motion, T. P. Pendleton was
called to the Chair, and Benjamin Morgan appointed Secretary, and it
appearing that a sufficient number of Stockholders for the transaction
of business having failed again to attend, it was on further motion
resolved that the meeting be adjourned to Tuesday, the 15th day of
April, proximo. |
