The travel on the Wilmington
& Weldon Rail Road has been resumed today by means of a Pontoon
Bridge over Tar River. The trains will commence their regular trips at
7 o'clock this evening. |
Col. Fremont requests us to
state that Passengers and troops, and light freight can now pass Tar
River twice daily by our trains, each day, on pontoon bridges. |
