Travel between the North and
the South is but little interrupted. Passengers from Nashville, via
the Edgefield {& Kentucky} Road meet
with but little delay. Hence South the detention is six hours. Trains
from the South hitherwards arrive two hours behind time. The Memphis
trains both ways connect closely {via the
Memphis & Ohio RR, the Memphis, Clarksville & Louisville RR,
and the Edgefield & Kentucky RR}. |
