A committee of the directors
of the Wilmington & Manchester Railroad Company appointed to investigate
the circumstances connected with the recent painful accident at Rocky
Bluff, 140 miles from Wilmington, having discharged the duties devolving
upon them, report that the cause of the accident was the breaking of the
flange of a wheel of one of the cars. The rails and trestle-work sound
and in good order. |
