Accident |
Tuesday afternoon the up Mail
Train on the Wilmington & Manchester R. R. came in contact with the down
mail train a short distance this side of Nicols' depot. Fortunately
neither train was running fast. We regret to learn that two white men,
soldiers, were badly crushed, as also a colored man. The injured men
were on the platform. The engine of the up train was considerably
injured. |
