Sealed proposals are invited
and will be received by the undersigned until Dec. 30th, 1861, for
supplying this Company the following articles of subsistence stores,
viz: |
5,800 |
Lbs. of Bacon, Sides and
Shoulders |
2,900 |
bushels of Meal (White) |

to be delivered in equal monthly
proportions. The deliveries may be made at Wilmington, Goldsboro', or
Weldon -- the preference for delivery in Wilmington. |
Each Bidder will state the
quantity of Bacon or Meal he proposes to supply, the price per pound
or per bushel, delivered at either of the places mentioned. |
Offers will also be received
for the supply of Bacon to be made in two or four deliveries, say on
the 1st of January and July or January, April, July and October, or
Meal to be delivered on the 25th of each month. |
