Notice to Shippers by Wil. & Man. R.
R. {Wilmington & Manchester RR} |
As it is impossible to receive
freight properly at night, no freight will be taken into the Warehouse
of the Company after sunset of any day, and none put on the premises
of the Company after that time at Company's risk. |
Doors of Freight Office will
be closed at time above mentioned. |
Receipts must in every
instance accompany freight or it will be rejected. |
Shippers by Nashville &
Chattanooga train must make previous necessary arrangements with J. W.
Thomas, Agent of that Train, and send along with freight, duplicate
receipts stating to be shipped by N. & C. Train. |
Shipments to Georgia or
interior of South Carolina via N. E. Railroad much be accompanied with
receipts stating that fact. |
Parties having freight for
posts beyond Kingsville, will please hand in memoranda of packages,
marks, &c., to the undersigned for registry. As opportunity for
shipment may present itself, shippers will be notified in the order
registered. |
