The Northern Mail |
We are without any Northern
mail this morning -- This, we learn, is in consequence of the mail
train and the engine having been pressed into service by General
Pickett, and carried off the W. & W. R. R. {Wilmington
& Weldon RR} to some place and for some purpose to us and
to our readers at present unknown, but which will hereafter more fully
appear, when we may have occasion to refer to it. |
