No Northern Mail Yet |
The detention on the
Wilmington & Weldon Rail Road yesterday was caused by a tree which had
broken down and fallen across the track, some fifteen to twenty miles
from Wilmington. The engine and tender of the morning down mail train
were thrown off the track, and the engineer and fireman pretty severely
though not dangerously injured. Nobody else was hurt, which was
providential. |
