| We invite special attention to
the notice of the Commissioners, that books for subscription have been
opened at the Exchange Bank. We learn that ten gentlemen of Columbia
have subscribed $10,000 each, so that one-tenth of the amount needed
has in one day been raised. The Road will be built. |
