Wanted to Hire Eight Hundred Negros |
To work on the Rail Road leading from
Montgomery to Decatur, Alabama, mostly in getting ties, track laying,
bridging, &c., near Elyton and Montavallo {on
the South & North Alabama RR}. Subsistence and houses
already prepared. One woman and One boy to Ten men will be taken. Parties sending Fifty (50) or more hands, can send an overseer to
assist in the proper management of the Negros. Hire payable Quarterly,
Semi-Annually or annually. Apply at the Washington Hotel. |
