An Indian was killed on the Southern {(of
Mississippi)} Rail Road by the Cars running over him. He had
been laying around the Streets, very drunk all the day, and
unfortunately wandered towards the Machine Shop, but was too tired to
get farther than the Foot of Cherry Street, where he fell across the
tracks, and laid there until the cars came along and mashed him into
eternity. |
