| We clip the following items from a
Louisville journal of the 3d: |

| Some days since a flat boat, containing a
locomotive and tender for the Louisville & Nashville railroad, was sunk
on the reef of rocks opposite Fourth street. Yesterday parties succeeded
in raising her, and the tender was brought safely to the wharf. The
locomotive is still at the bottom of the river. |
