Railroad Accidents |
We learn that the late freshet occasioned
several accidents on the Mississippi Central railroad, above Vaiden's
station. One locomotive and several baggage cars were entirely
demolished by being thrown from the track in crossing places which had
been injured by the rain and high water. The track, however, was
immediately repaired, and is now in good running order. |
