| Telegraph Line to Monroe, La. |
| The Vicksburg Whig learns that the
Vicksburg, Shreveport & Texas railroad company have closed a contract
for the extension of he telegraph line from Tallula station to Monroe.
The line is to be in operation in ninety days. |
