Railroad Accident |
The Mobile Tribune of Saturday says:
"We are informed that a railroad accident occurred on the Southern
{of Mississippi} railroad, running from Meridian to Jackson, Miss., on
Wednesday night last, when running through a plantation near
Tusclameta. The locomotive ran over a cow and a horse, which threw the
train off the track, breaking every car, but fortunately doing no
injury to any of the passengers. The engineer received some slight
bruises. We are unable to gather any further particulars. |
