| The directors of the Columbus & San
Antonio railroad have thought it prudent to stop the survey of that road
{a 125-mile west extension of the Buffalo Bayou,
Brazos & Colorado RR}, for the present. |
| The grading on the short line to connect
Alleyton with Columbus {the Columbus Tap RR},
was nearly completed on the 22d, only half a mile remaining to be
finished. Additional force has been placed on the road. |
