Cars at Thomasville |
Though a week or two behind the novelty
of the first arrival of the cars at Thomasville, on the Savannah{,
Albany} & Gulf Railroad, we now make amends by alluding to
the fact, and congratulating our many friends in that section upon the
facilities they enjoy in communicating with the seaboard, and thus
greatly enhancing the value of their property. Thomas, Brooks, Decatur
and other counties penetrated by the railway, will compete for
preeminence in Southern Georgia in the great staple of the South, and
also in the intelligence of their citizens. |
