The stock of the Savannah,
Albany & Gulf and Atlantic & Gulf Railroad Companies having been
consolidated in accordance with an Act of the General Assembly, assented
to April 18th, 1863, incorporating said Companies under the name of the
Atlantic & Gulf Rail Road Company, notice is hereby given that in
consequence of said consolidation, and to equalize the common stock,
$3.41 per share will be paid out and after the 1st August next to the
Stockholders of the Savannah, Albany & Gulf R. R. Co., and $2.25 per
share to the Stockholders of the Atlantic & Gulf R. R. Co. |
The Stockholders of the
Savannah, Albany & Gulf R. R. Co. are requested to present their scrip
to be exchanged for scrip of the new Company at the time of calling for
the amount due. |
All claims against either of
the former Companies will be settled by the Atlantic & Gulf R. R. Co. |
