The great and continuing rise in all railroad materials,
and the necessity of increasing the pay of Operatives, make it
absolutely necessary to raise the rates of freight. |
Notice is, therefore, hereby given, that on and after
Monday, the 4th day of August, there will be charged an additional
amount of twenty per centum on all freight passing over the roads of
the Company and the branches to Eatonton and Augusta. |
