Railroad Accident |
An accident, resulting in a
serious loss to a number of passengers occurred on the 5th inst., at
Littleton Station, a little over fifteen miles from Columbia, S. C., on
the Greenville & Columbia Railroad. The train was on its way to
Greenville, when, from some unknown cause, the baggage car attached to
the passenger train took fire, and was completely destroyed, along with
the entire baggage of the passengers. |
