Railroad Accident |
An accident occurred to a
train on the Georgia Railroad, thirty-three miles from Augusta, Saturday
evening last {September 26, 1863}, by which
one negro was instantly killed, and another so severely wounded that he
died before day. W. Deas, a soldier from Richmond county, and a number
of others, were slightly wounded. None were seriously wounded except
those on the platforms. |
