| We have received a
communication from 'Marengo,' addressed to the Directors of this road,
which we decline publishing. A satisfactory statement of the officers,
showing the earnings, expenses, management and condition on the road,
was prepared and ordered to be printed some time ago, but has been
delayed in consequence of a heavy press of other important work. It
shall be done as soon as possible. In the meantime "Marengo: may
rest assured that the road is in good hands, and that its affairs are
properly managed. |
