Daily Railroad Line of Steamers Between Selma and
Montgomery |
The A No. 1 Fine and Very Fast Running Steamers
Warrior, H. R. Johnston, Master, Cherokee, W. J. Mathews, Master will
run the ensuing season between Selma and Montgomery, making close
connections with the Railroads {In Selma, the
Alabama & Mississippi Rivers RR and in Montgomery, the Montgomery
& West Point RR, the Montgomery & Eufaula RR and the Alabama
& Florida (of Alabama) RR}. One of the above boats will
leave each place daily, on the arrival of the cars, and connecting
with the cars at the other end of the route. |
Shippers, and the public generally, may rely on the
promptness and punctuality of the Warrior and Cherokee. For speed and
comfort they are not surpassed by any boat in the State.
