The lines being down above
Augusta and below Montgomery, we are again without telegraphic
dispatches since those received yesterday morning. Mr. Ludwig, the
operator here, informs us that he is indebted to Mr. Adams,
Superintendent of the Central {(of Georgia)}
Road, for a special engine by which he was able to make the
repairs between here and Augusta. |
