Coroner's Inquest |
Coroner Epen on Saturday
afternoon last held an inquest at the depot of the Savannah, Albany &
Gulf Railroad, upon the body of Thomas Canfield. The deceased was a
fireman on the train which came in on Saturday. Falling between the
tender and box car while the train was in motion, he was crushed to
death by the cars running over him. His body was dreadfully mangled. |
