| We take the following dispatches from the
Macon Telegraph of Sunday: |

| Mobile, April 11 |
| Engine between Mobile and
Montgomery ran off the track {Alabama & Florida
(of Alabama) RR}. The boiler burst, killing the conductor,
engineer and fireman, and wounding many soldiers. Bearden and myself are
safe. |
