Railroad Dinner at Thomasville |
The citizens of Thomasville,
Ga., are making preparations for having a grand dinner in honor of the
completion of the Main Trunk Railroad {the
Atlantic & Gulf RR} to that place. The Enterprise very
properly puts in a plea for the ladies, by saying that "no public feast
can be complete and satisfactory without the presence of ladies, and
none know so well how to prepare and arrange the minutia of a well-set
table." |
