South-Western Railroad |
The South-western train, which
left yesterday morning, was stopped when about fifteen to twenty miles
from town by a bad wash. We learn by a passenger that there were three
on the track between Macon and Fort Valley. We presume, therefore, the
rain must have been heavier in that vicinity, yesterday morning, than it
had been in town up to that time. Our informant thought it would require
some days to repair damages, but we hope not. |
