Railroad Accident |
An accident occurred on the
Charleston & Savannah Railroad on Sunday morning, about two o'clock,
resulting in the smashing up of two cars, disabling the engine,
inflicting severe injuries on the Conductor, and some slight bruises on
several other persons. |
The accident occurred at the
Adams Run Station, twenty-two miles from the city. Two freight trains,
running the same schedule time, came into violent collision at that
point. Conductor Bradley's arm was severely injured, if not broken,
besides having his arms and hands burned by getting jammed in between
the ??? One of the trains escaped without any damage. |
