The President |
Dispatches received in
official quarters last night, state that President Davis left Macon for
Savannah last evening at half-past seven o'clock
{Central (of Georgia) RR}, in a special train, which following
the regular passenger train, will arrive at the Depot this morning at
eight o'clock. We have not learned what arrangements have been made for
his reception, or how long he will remain in the city. |
